Christoph Schmidt-Petri is tenured Associate Professor of Philosophy. He wrote his doctoral dissertation on John Stuart Mill at the London School of Economics and has held a number of positions in Germany (and Glasgow) before coming to the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. He currently is President of the German Society for Utilitarian Studies.
